Samsung Galaxy A9 spotted on GeekBench with Snapdragon 620

The Samsung Galaxy S series is known for premium smartphones manufactured, the A series encompasses of smartphones which are neither too premium nor to low-end. It consists of budget smartphones launched by Samsung with fair prices.

It seems that the South Korean giant is up with plans to launch the Galaxy A9 soon, there is a listing on GeekBench, which shows that the Galaxy A9 is also known as Samsung SM-A9000. GSMArena reports that the device with the same chipset was showed up on Antutu.

So according to GeekBench results, the Galaxy A9 will come with Snapdragon 620 SoC (MSM8976), which has two quad-core processors i.e. One of them is the Cortex-A72 and the other one is Cortex-A53. The chip on the chipset is optimized for focus on Single core performance.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 will also have the Fingerprint sensor which will be used to use features like “Unlocking Phone/Apps & make payments online”. Sadly, Samsung has ditched it’s own “Exynos Chipset” and is shifting to Snapdragon 620. The Snapdragon 620 might make travelling & navigation quickly.

On top of all this the Galaxy A9 comes with the Super Amoled Display which makes the visual performance better than the other phones/laptops. The report by GeekBenchmark also has a lot of other technical specifications about the Galaxy A9 i.e. the RAM/Internal Storage and Core performance. That’s all for now, stay tuned for more updates.
