Paris Terrorist Attacks: All you need to know

The terrorist attack in Paris on Friday night shook the world in despair as more than 150 people were killed. Suicide bombers and armed terrorists crucified the people in the sports stadium, restaurants and a concert hall at various locations of Paris leaving the deadliest soil ever on the French land. Here’s the detailed analysis of the attack, the probable casualties and injuries, the  organization behind the attack, and much attack death people

Locations of the attack:

The attack took place at ‘the Bataclan Arts Centre’, suburb area outside stadium ‘Stade de France’, ‘Northern suburb of Saint-Denis’. A friendly soccer match was going on between Germany and France in the stadium and almost 2 explosions took place at Stade de attack venue

Number of people died:

Till now, approximately 160 people are reported dead. Among which, the maximum slaughter with 120 people took place at the Bataclan centre.

Beginning of the attacks:

At 9:15 pm GMT on November 13, the first attack was reported and till 9:40 pm all the 3 attacks took place.

Identification of the attackers:

There were 2 terrorists who seemed like suicide bombers but their identity is unknown. The investigation is going on to find the suspects, and one of which seemed to be under the attack suspect

Actions from the French Government:

Thousands of security personnel have been positioned in the country. President of France, Francois Hollande, has canceled his important trip to the Antalya (Turkey) for the G20 summit. A national emergency has been declared by the government and confined the borders. 1.5 k army battalion have been enforced into the Paris surrounding and every big hospitals have been called to cope up with the casualties.

Any specific motive or message for this attack?

Since there is no specific identity of the attackers, it is tough to reckon the motive behind this cruel and devil deeds. ‘Allahu Akbar’ (God is Great) was chanted by one of the attackers so the only possible point seems to go to the Islamists. One of the gunman at the Bataclan centre yelled,

” The attack is the consequence of the harm done to Muslims by Hollande.”

France has been in the centre of focus of the Islamist revolutionaries as in January, 2015 a gunman was overpowered in the train.

Condolences by the dignitaries:

Barack Obama, President of the United States, expressed his deep condolences,

“This is an evil attack not on Paris but on the innocent people of the country and humanity and moral values.”

Russian President, Vladimir Putin, said in a statement

“Russia is strongly ready to support France against any investigations of terrorist crimes an inhumane killing.”

German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, was present in the stadium where the soccer match was being played said

” I am shaken by the pictures and news of the terrorist attack. Germany is always with France to provide any support.”

Facebook has enabled its ‘Safety Check’ feature to enable people safe in regards of the attacks. British Prime Minister David Cameron said,

“I am shocked by events in Paris tonight. Our thoughts and prayers are with the French people. We will do whatever we can to help”.
