Kane Williamson scored 5th century in eight tests in 2015 and is making unique records average, century and performance wise. He successfully led New Zealand to a huge victory over Sri Lanka. NZ won the 2nd Test match at Seddon Park in Hamilton. The victory gave Kiwis a 2-0 series sweep over SL. They have won the first test in Dunedin by 122 runs.
Brendon McCullum praised Kane Williamson’s consistent Batting since last 6 months & applauded his batting skills and techniques. Kane finished 108 not out, and this makes a total of 1172 runs in 2015 (the most by a New Zealander in a calendar year). At an average of 90.15, Williamson absolutely have demolished every side in the past few months.
New Zealand held a little benefit when they resumed on Monday on 142-5 but both teams had the chance to win the second test match but it was Kane Williamson who came out and delivered a century to have the match in favor of NZ. The bad news is that that The 25-year-old got right knee heavily strapped during his innings on Sunday. Sri Lankan Captain Angelo Mathews admired the batting of Kane Williamson and said, ” Both the sides were equally qualifying for the victory but Kane batted really well & led the host to make the triumph.”
NZ, finalist of WC 2015, is aiming to get the form so as to make a blow and great impact on ICC T20 WC 2016. NZ has always been the challenging team for every nation.
